The year 2022 was nothing short of a blessing. I want to thank the Almighty Allah for seeing me through this year and for constantly having my back. To be honest, there were times I was unappreciative to God. I felt there were somethings he shouldn’t have let happen to me or even anyone. I lost two of my uncles last year. I lost one to diabetes and the other was due to some sickness which was as a result of old age. I was sad at first but it made me realize just how short life is; How quickly it goes by. One moment you’re talking to someone on the phone and the next day you call the person only to have his sister pick it up and tell you he died the night you last spoke to him. All of this has taught me to never take any moment for granted. It taught me that life is too short to keep malice and vengeful spirit. It taught me to love and care more as just because we express love differently doesn’t mean it’s not love(I got this statement from a movie and it resonates soo well with me). It also taught me that at the end of the day, I must live my life to the fullest so that when my time is up, I have no regret and so should you.
